Things to Consider when Designing Your Dream Pool

Having access to the internet and photos from incredible pools all over the world certainly gives potential pool owners a lot of ideas to choose from.  It’s important to work with an experienced pool designer and builder who can help with recommendations based on your particular space and how you plan to use the pool.

The first thing to consider when designing your pool is the location.  There are a number of factors, such as the ground level and surface, trees in the yard, as well as possible underground power or water sources.  We are experienced in taking in all of the details of your yard, including view lines from the house and what other features are planned for the backyard.  Oftentimes, available space can help determine the best outline shape for your pool.  Maybe a curved shape will fit better than the rectangle you originally imagined, based on the yard.

You’ll need to consider how you want to use your pool when considering depth and other features.  Do you want steps or a walk-in feature?  Do you want a deep end for a slide or diving?  Of course, we have a portfolio of our pool projects that will help start your thought process on pool design.  Then you can get creative with any additional features you want to add to make your pool unique.  You’ll have the opportunity to choose finishes, colors, lighting, water features and more.

We work personally with each client to help create a backyard design that makes the most of the space while providing the desired look and functionality.  Our no-obligation consultation can help you get started on planning your ideal pool – we are here to help!  Contact us today for more information.
